2008 GOLF LEAGUE INFORMATION
Adult Par 3 Leagues (Have Fun, Learn & Play)
~ fun for beginners to more experienced players ~
New format for 2008!
Have fun with friends & family on a weekly basis. Enjoy a 20 minute group golf lesson each week prior to 9 holes of golf. The league also includes prizes each week and a casual fun atmosphere. Our adult spring, summer and fall leagues are on Tuesday evenings. Tee times will begin at 6:00 pm every Tuesday with group instruction beginning at 5:40 pm every week prior to golf. Our PGA Professional staff will cover all aspects of the game to improve your performance then go have fun playing! Sign up now!

Playing golf is fun, especially regularly with friends. In our junior par 3 league, juniors not only can play weekly but also receive a half hour of golf instruction before each round. Juniors ages 7-17 are grouped by age (ages 7-11 and ages 12-17) and receive a comprehensive overview of golf including basic rules and etiquette. In addition to each golfer receiving a free cap from Vitense Golfland, prizes are awarded throughout the ten week league. Ten weeks green fees, rental clubs and weekly instruction from two PGA golf professionals are all included in the fee. Lunch will be also be provided each week from our Green Tree Grill. The league begins on Tuesday morning June 17, 2008 and continues for 10 weeks. Each group is limited to 45 participants so please register early.
Ages 11 to 17 begin at 8:30 a.m.
Ages 7 to 10 begin at 10:30 a.m.

2008 Junior Tournament Players League

Tournament golf occurs at a very early age. We have designed a junior golf league that allows young golfers to develop their tournament skills by learning and competing weekly in a wide variety of tournament formats such as best ball medal play, stroke play, scramble, alternate shot. Each week's play is preceded by a half hour group lesson taught by our PGA Professionals.
The league begins on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 7:30 am and meets every Thursday for ten consecutive weeks. The league is open to junior golfers age 7 to 17 and includes ten week's green fees, weekly prizes, golf instruction, a Vitense Golf Academy cap and brunch from our Green Tree Grill following each weekly round. The league is limited to 45 participants so please register early.

2008 Bogey Busters Senior Par 3 League
We have a well established senior par 3 league which is operated by a group of energetic individuals. The league requires an $8 membership fee then seniors age 55 and over pay discounted green fees each week. The league plays every Wednesday morning beginning April 16, 2008 and continues through September. Don't miss the free one hour clinic on April 9, 2008 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. taught by our PGA Professional staff. Please contact Vitense Golfland management for more information. You may join this league at anytime.
Senior golfers pay just $189 for Unlimited Play 2008 Par 3 Membership!
Corporate Golf Leagues
Opportunities exist for your company to set up a morning, afternoon, or evening, league on our lighted par 3 golf course. Please contact Joel Weitz, Director of Golf & PGA Professional, for more information. Include using one of our community rooms with up-to-date audio and video equipment for your league. Also, our Green Tree Grill can provide snacks, meals, cookouts, or even catered events for larger groups.

Boys and Girls competed in each age bracket (ages 6-8, ages 9-10, ages 11-12, ages 13-17) Youngest age groups tee off first beginning at 8:00 a.m.

2008 Par 3 Open

Vitense Golfland introduces the first annual Par 3 Open. This tournament is open to all players, pros, amateurs, and juniors. This is a 9 hole stroke play tournament with seperate divisions for men and women.
