The "Little Putterheads"  -  Ages 3 to 6
(Available Year Round!)

Introduce your child to the fun and great game of golf at a very early age.  They are ready!  Children ages 3 to 6 meet for four consecutive one hour weekly lessons at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday mornings year round and on Friday mornings in summer.  Parents are encouraged but not required to attend.  We combine learning golf on our three practice greens and golf range with activities on our miniature golf courses.  For the late fall and winter classes, we utilize our golf academy studio, indoor Madison landmark miniature golf course and classrooms to address all areas of programming.  Golf clubs specifically designed for this age group are used during the lesson to ensure that we provide everything you need for your child to have fun learning.  Watch the smile on your child's face when they get the golf ball airborne!

"Junior Linksters" (ages 3 - 7)

The junior linksters is the next step for our youngest juniors.  Designed for ages 3 to 7, this program will advance their learning of the game with more focused instruction on swing mechanics, with miniature golf course fun.  The juniors will meet in weekly one hour sessions for four consecutive weeks.  Sessions in Summer are on Thursdays and Fridays at 10:30 am and during the school year, the sessions begin at 4:00 pm on Thursdays.  This program includes 20 minute rotations on: the golf range, practice greens, and the miniature golf course.  For the late fall and winter classes, we utilize our golf academy studio, indoor putting green, indoor Madison landmark miniature golf course and classrooms to address all areas of programming.

For those looking to introduce their future junior golfer to the game of golf, beginner group lessons are the perfect format.  Groups are limited to a size from 5 to 8 people to provide your child with meaningful individual attention.  Areas covered by our PGA professionals are grip, set-up, inswing principles, pitching, chipping and putting.  Time is also spent on teaching basic rules and etiquette including a review on golf equipment.  The junior golfer will also learn on course play by playing holes established on our practice greens.  The group lessons are one hour each week at 11:45 am Monday through Saturday (except  Tuesdays) and continue for four consecutive weeks.  Mondays and Thursdays are for ages 7-11.  Wednesdays and Fridays are for ages 12-17.  Saturday sessions are for all ages.  

For the fall and winter classes, we utilize our golf academy studio, indoor putting green, indoor Madison landmark miniature golf course and classrooms to address all areas of programming. These one hour lessons are available Monday and Wednesdays at 4:00 pm and on Saturdays at 11:45 a.m. during the Winter season. 

Receive 4 sessions of Academy Practice which includes opportunity to purchase half price range balls during Academy Practice sessions.

Junior Intermediate Lesson & Play 201

Junior golf development 201 which includes our popular lesson & play series is designed for junior golfers with previous golf experience.  These sessions run continuously throughout the summer and will be offered to groups ranging from 3 to 5 Juniors.  Our PGA professionals instruct areas of grip, set-up, inswing principles, greenside bunker play, pitching, chipping, putting, course management, rules, equipment and etiquette.  We will also use V1 Pro Swing Analysis Software to analyze each player's swing.

Format consists of four weekly one hour lessons with two lessons on the golf range and two on course playing lessons.  Juniors will play on the course after  each weekly lesson and must be able to play independently (about 3 total hours each week of lessons and playing). At a very affordable price, juniors receive four complete hours of group instruction and four rounds on the par 3 course.  The lessons/rounds continue for three additional weeks.  Parents may and are encouraged to assist on the par 3 golf course.  Please note that any groups with fewer than three persons will be rescheduled.  Ages 7-11 meet on Mondays and Thursdays at 1:00 pm for four consecutive weeks.  Ages 12-17 meet on Wednesdays and Fridays at 1:00 pm for four consecutive weeks.  Receive 4 sessions of Academy Practice which includes half price range balls and free golf instruction from our PGA Professional staff.

  New!!!!    "Elite" High School Junior Golf Program

This new program is specifically designed for junior golfers in grades 7 thru 12 either on golf teams or aspiring to make the team.  This is a more serious approach to learning the game, making lower scores more obtainable.

Groups are limited in size (3 to 5 in each class)

Four Weeks, one hour each week

Two Sessions to choose from (Two different formats)

Session 1 on Tuesdays

Cost is $160 per golfer

(Life Lessons Through Golf)

Vitense Golfland is proud to introduce a new after school program called DREAM!!  This program is designed to “Teach Life Lessons Through Golf.”  Each week there will be a new theme.  Such as passion, honesty, respect, and how to win and lose gracefully.  There will be 15 minutes for discussion followed by 45 minutes of golf instruction.  There will also be school teachers available for tutoring as we also recognize the importance of education.  Ages will start in the 5th grade and up.  Each student will also have a high school mentor to help with instruction and act as a big brother or sister.  There are 3 sessions with the first session starting November 5, 2007.  The cost will be $50 per Session 1, 2 or 3 or $120.00 for all three sessions.
